Satsang and Meditation

In Satsang we create a devotional space through chanting and meditation where we can call forth our true divine nature: Love, Light, and Bliss.

Chanting is part of Bhakti Yoga. It is a deep expression of devotion to a form of God. It is a dynamic path, as you are developing a personal relationship to God.

Chanting cultivates devotion. You are communicating from your deepest heart. The focus is not so much on the quality of the voice or the arrangement of the song, but more on what you are communicating from inside. You are uncovering your heart and offering it to God. You are opening up a personal connection, and creating a personal communication. The experience that takes place  through chanting is just between you and God.

During Satsang we will have meditation, chanting, and lecture, followed by Arati, a traditional waving of the light ceremony.
