Seva at Leela Mata Peaceful Valley
Seva is a spiritual path of selfless service. It is a powerful and practical way to purify the mind and heart. At Leela Mata Peaceful Valley Ashram you will have the support of a spiritual environment and community. We have a daily schedule of meditations and yoga practice time. Most Seva involves housekeeping, gardening, cooking, renovation, driving, care-taking and any task needed for the smooth running of the ashram. As a Staff you will be contributing about 6 hours of service a day. For the first month there is a fee of $300.00. After that, it will be decided whether you would like to stay on further, under what terms and for how long.
General Ashram Rules
No drugs, smoking, alcohol, meat or eggs on the property. Morning meditation at 6 am and evening at 7:30 pm, suggested evening curfew at 10pm. Karma Yogis work a minimum of 6 hours a day.
