The seven
Chakras are the
energy centers that hold the key to every aspect of
your physical, emotional and mental
health.
In this workshop you will learn
about:
- The significance of the chakras and
their function in our three bodies (material, astral,
causal) according to the system of Yoga.
- What each chakra stands for, e.g.
what characteristics, elements and bijas are
associated with the different chakras and how they
are symbolized.
- Practical meditation exercise on each
of the chakras.
...and much
more!
This workshop is designed as a 7-day
course - one day for each of the chakras. It can also
be given as an intensive weekend seminar that
incorporates most of the theory, but less intensive
practise.

A Workshop with Leela
Mata - an Inspiring Experience
"A journey through the chakras" was the
workshop title. This may go different ways. Decisive
for the course and result of the journey is the
personal guidance and care for the "voyager". After
all the well-being and progress of the "voyager"
depends substantially on it. Similarly important for
the success is openness and the confidence of the
workshop participants.
Given this, it is very amazing that
during the workshop with Leela Mata, at the Frankfurt
Yoga-Vidya Center, all of this did not seem to
matter. With her knowledge, gained through decades of
Yoga practise, and her warm-hearted way one gets
accommodated from the very beginning and any timidity
to open oneself or the fear for possible abysms is
taken away. It is her eyes, her smile and her whole
face that reflects the deepness of her wisdom and is
comforting at the same time.
So the participants start off on their
journey with the Muladhara chakra, the root chakra.
Step by step they are taught about the different
aspects of these energy centers - physical and
psycological, spiritual and practical. This comes
about by explanations about the significance of each
chakra and what their function and purpose is and by
meditations and guided dream journeys.
Although the fundamentals of the
participants varied strongly everybody went home
"enriched"; enriched with new knowledge and new tasks
- this became clear during the final round of sharing
workshop experiences.
Simply an absolutely inspiring
experience.
