The ayurvedic cook training is a combination of lecture and "hands on" cooking. It is a practical cooking of tasty, balancing, and healing recipes, prepared together in the group. After each cooking session the group will share and enjoy the dishes.

Learn the importance of taste in ayurveda, the energetic effects of different foods, their effect on the doshas, and their actions on body and mind. Proper food combining and appropriate diets based on constitution will be considered.

You will learn to make:

- Chapatties, roties and puris

- Ghee and yogurt

- Various curries

- Different dals - tri doshic, ama-reducing and with vegetables

- Rice dishes - pulao, saffron rice, plain Indian rice and spicy yogurt rice

- Raitas - cucumber, beet, carrot, banana

- Chutney - spicy to prepare beauty products at home, which suit the individual constitution (three doshas)

- Desert - halava, kheer, shiro and laddo

- Ayurvedic chai, lassi and takram

… plus some spontaneous surprise!
